The equipment was delivered to the hospital
The St. Nicholas Hospital is one of the key medical facilities in Western Ukraine, where newborns—particularly premature infants and infants with jaundice—receive specialized neonatal care. The BiliCare™ transcutaneous bilirubinometer is a state-of-the-art diagnostic device for non-invasive measurement of bilirubin levels without blood draws, painful punctures, or long waits for lab results. The use of this device will enable painless monitoring of approximately 1,500 children with jaundice each year, timely prescription of phototherapy for 250–300 infants, reduction of the risk of severe hyperbilirubinemia, and a safe start in life for the most vulnerable patients.
As of April 7, 2026, the equipment was transferred to the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise “1st Territorial Medical Association of Lviv.”
On behalf of the “Medical Innovations” Charitable Foundation, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your compassion, trust, and support of this project, which aims to improve medical care for newborns at the St. Nicholas Hospital. Your contribution is vital for ensuring painless and timely monitoring of bilirubin levels in our youngest patients, particularly premature infants who require special care from the very first hours of life.
We are grateful for your generosity and faith in our mission. Thanks to you, we can provide our young patients with quality treatment, rehabilitation, and the necessary medical support.
