Pain and wounds for life
Usually this rare and very scary disease – bullous epidermolysis – manifests itself from the birth of a baby, but in Bogdanchik's life it was a little different... He was born a healthy boy, his mother and relatives could not enjoy this treasure that appeared in their lives. But this happiness did not last long… In a month, the boy had some skin rashes, at first it did not cause much anxiety, but when the rashes did not pass, and the doctor after the doctor could not find that it was in a toddler, mother and relatives started to creep in fear... And after 1.5 years (!), doctors diagnosed the bullous epidermolysis. "How can we cure it?", the first question sounded. "Unfortunately, it's for life"...
What is bullous epidermolysis? How to deal with it? Why doesn't my baby have skin wounds? Why should my baby suffer? There are no answers to these questions. Bullous epidermolysis is a rare group of hereditary diseases in which blisters or erosion occur on the skin and in some cases under the epithelium of other organs in response to or without injury. In newborns, bladders are most often localized on the fingers of the hands, elbows, feet and in the area of diapers. In addition, they can injure the mucous membranes of the mouth, nasopharynx, eyes, urogenital area, gastrointestinal tract, respiratory symptoms. In the future, the pathological process may cover large areas of the trunk and extremities, destroy teeth, hair and nails.
In order to somehow alleviate the fate of people suffering from bullous epidermolysis, they in large numbers need special bandages and other dressings made of expensive material that will not injure the skin, as well as ointments and special food. Ordinary food, when it enters the esophagus, damages the baby's internal tissues – and this causes more problems. The monthly budget for providing everything necessary reaches up to 50 000 UAH.
Therefore, any of your participation is very important! Food and bandage for this charge will be enough for 3 months of use for Bogdanchik Any of your contributions alleviates the pain of little Bogdanchik.
Thank you for your great help!
