Vlada was born in the evening in an ordinary district hospital by cesarean section. Childbirth was heavy. After the first examination, the doctors did not notice anything, except for the unevenness of the legs. Somewhere in an hour, during the second inspection, small wounds were noticed at the place where the hands touched the child’s feet. And after a blood test from a finger, a skin is gone. Then it became clear that something was wrong with the child’s skin. Immediately called an ambulance from the area and the child was taken to the pathology. By the morning, he was diagnosed with Buliozny epidermolysis.

The disease is genetic, incurable. The top layer of skin is very weakly connected to the deeper one, therefore it starts to bubble and crawl at any touch, like pollen from the wings of a butterfly. Children with such a disease are called “butterfly children”. Erosions and bubble occur due to the absence in the skin layer of fibrous protein, which is responsible for the strong bond of tissues. The least pressure can cause painful wounds.

For several days the entire body of the girl was covered with wounds. Since the mucous is still affected, the baby was fed through a probe (through the nose), then dripped into her mouth through a syringe, and only a month later Vlada began to feed slowly from the bottle, while constantly injuring her lips. But there is no other way out. Vlada stayed in the hospital for 3 weeks. Some wounds healed, others appeared, and because there was no treatment, the child was discharged home under the supervision of the mother. The only way out - careful care of the wounds. Moreover, it is necessary to bandage not only the constantly emerging wounds but also each finger on the hands, so that they do not grow together. By the 1 year, Vladochka lost all the claws on her arms and legs peeled off, and her hair began to fall out

At the moment, Vladochka is 4 years old. Despite the illness, she is a very cheerful girl. She loves to play with other children, although due to her illness she cannot take part in many games. Vlada also loves to play the piano and draw. To make her life less painful and more comfortable, huge amounts of money are needed for dressings and special food. Unfortunately, the financial capacity of the family does not allow to fully provide the child with the necessary quality materials. Therefore, the family is forced to seek help from caring people. We will be grateful to everyone who responds!
