Run, Mark, run!

He should have been born dead. So was considered by doctors who monitored the course of Irina's pregnancy. But the boy was born alive. No one except his parents believed in this weak life. Error in intrauterine diagnostics had severe consequences for the baby. But Marko overcame all, endured all the surgeries, kept the intellect, strengthened. The only remaining problem is dislocation of the femoral joints. Now there is a chance to correct this defect and give the child the opportunity to walk. 

While looking at the smart 4-year-old boy, one would never believe that he was literally pulled back from dead. Even in the womb, he held his breath. Not finding signs of life in the fetus, the doctors decided to save mom. Premature forced births were difficult. No sympathy for the child, to pull out and quickly finish the case... But the heart in the little body fought! He was held in ER on artificial respiration for months. Doctors said that the child will not survive.

A number of diagnoses after the "deadborn" became the sentence of the first years of Mark’s life ... He survived severe esophagus surgery and again surprised doctors. Alive! Complex rehabilitation, moral and financial difficulties – all that gone for Mark and his parents. The child is not only alive, but also developing normally. He recites lyrics, sings, and attends kindergarten. The only thing he cannot do is walk. Numerous consultations with Ukrainian doctors ended with the conclusion that Mark would not walk.

But most of all in the world he dreams of stepping on his own, run, getting on a bike and riding with all his might to the wind. Recently, the family’s acquaintances helped raise funds for diagnostic and consultations in Germany.
