It is the third time I participate in the projects of Charitable Foundation “Open Palms” as a fundraiser. This time I will cover marathon distance of 42.195 km to raise money for Oksana Smal’ who suffers from a cruel disease – cancer. The only thing that can help the woman to pull together is Everolimus medicine. The monthly cost of this medicine is more than 26.000 UAH. This is impossible for one average family.

More than 26.000 UAH per month, 37 UAH for an hour of life… A third consecutive year we succeeded to win Oksana back from a cruel disease. Tumor of a kidney with metastasis at the stage when restoration to health and strength is not expected. But thanks to the medicines the cancer is controlled, its progress is stopped, the woman feels much better and additional years of life are won. Can something be more precious?

Ruslan is our personal example and proof to the fact that people who can cover marathon distance of 42.195 km exist  They live next to us and are not so different from the first sight… if not for a marathon, we will just communicate and we might never know what this guy can do. We are proud of Ruslan! Look around more attentively, some extraordinary people live next to you! And, you also might be an extraordinary person for somebody! Let us support and praise each other and we will be able to make any achievement.
