This year, instead of celebrating my birthday I invited closest friends to National Cancer Institute, in pediatric oncology department. That day i finally realized the importance of presence of hospital clown in pediatric departments. In any departments.

Especially hospices, which main purpose is enhancing of patient's last days, months, or years. In the number of other supported or implemented by "Ya Nina" project, there are palliative medicine and care for incurable patients. I urge you to support the "LaVita" fund marathon to collect part of required amount, to bring smiles not only to palliative children, but also adults. That the clowns in the hospice give them smiles and hope, because #ВартоЖити. We are for a decent life to the last breath!

Fund became the first one in Ukraine, which began using specially trained hospital clowns when treating incurable patients. More than for two months we observe how sincerely grateful patients accept these unusual visitors. Clowns in hospices are not entertainment, they are care, attention, possibility to share feelings, to fight stress, and prophylactic of personnel burnout. To continue "Smile days" in Kiev hospice we need financial means.
