Running for babies, Tymofiy Badikov

Tymofii Badikov is father of a child being operated at Cardio center. It is not from the stories, but from his own experience that Tymofii knows about Cardio center doctors’ care of their patients. However, their intentions only are not enough to save children’s lives. To increase treatment success high quality medical equipment is required. Thus, this issue is not trivial – in order to treat patients, both costly equipment, which is located in operating room and substitutes heart while it is “disabled”, and equipment that supports a baby before and after a surgery are equally important.

Within the project, our Foundation aims to purchase two syringe infusion pumps. This equipment provides doctors with an opportunity to conduct best treatment, such as exact estimation of medicine dosage, correct speed and time of infusion.

Thanks to Cardio center doctors, Tymofii can each and every day watch his son grow up, see his smile, record first steps and words. That is why today he joins our “Open Hearts” team and raises funds for aforementioned equipment purchase within NovaPoshtaKyivHalfMarathon 2016 project. All is done in order to give Cardio center patients parents the same opportunity to observe their kinds grow up.
