The Kyiv meeting place, Kurazh, will hold its final charity event of the season on 2 and 3 September at Garage in Podil.

As always, Kurazh will combine everything we love: long-awaited hugs with everyone we haven't seen for a long time, a handpicked flea market, music, important conversations and great good deeds, which are very easy to do at Kurazh.

There are 3 goals of the last Charity Kurazh of the season:

1. To equip a ventilation system with air temperature control in the simplest shelter of the Okhmatdyt hospital at a cost of UAH 882 665.

This shelter became a refuge for many children and parents at the beginning of the invasion. You've probably seen photos of it in the news. During the air raid, about 120 people come down to this room: sick children and their parents from 5 departments of the hospital – the AIDS unit, paediatric unit, early childhood unit, endocrinology unit, neurology unit – many of them need to continue medical procedures even during the attacks, and this room is the closest option. The rocket attacks do not stop, and the shelter needs to be prepared for the winter period. So the hospital management has already begun repair work, but there is an important need to fund a ventilation system that will ensure the proper level of oxygen in the room, which is critical for the comfort and recovery of patients.

Equipping hospitals and public institutions with storage facilities is the future of our country. That is why we need to start now and do it well. That is exactly what we are going to do!

2. Purchase of tactical medicine and medical equipment to help save lives of people in the war zone in Ukraine.

We need to help with the purchase of tactical medicine, which is purchased and delivered to combat medics by the Birds project, founded by volunteer Tata Kepler. Since 2014, Tata Kepler has been involved in medical aid to the military. During this time, a powerful resource has been created to further support the army and civilians thanks to the contributions of caring people. The main goal of the project is to help where doctors cannot reach, to save our comrades and bring victory closer. As part of the project, we aim to purchase and deliver tactical medicine supplies and equipment that help save lives. The more money we raise, the more we can convert into saving lives.

3. Production and installation of modern prosthetics for defenders.

Support is also needed for defenders who have lost limbs in the war. The Superhumans Centre, an all-Ukrainian modern centre for prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, rehabilitation and psychological support for war-affected people, has many patients in need of prosthetics. Thanks to the collection, the Superhumans Centre is able to help its patients.
