Be St. Nicholas for children's hearts

For many years, our organization has been organizing the Feast of St. Nicholas to bring children joy, warmth, and a sense of care. This year, the team of the Charitable Foundation "Caritas of the Sambir-Drohobych Eparchy of the UGCC" aims to make the celebration truly special for 50 children aged 6 to 11 – children of Heroes: military personnel, prisoners of war, and those missing in action; internally displaced children; as well as children who find themselves in difficult life circumstances.

Among them is Mariyka, 7 years old, who has experienced several relocations due to the war and has been left almost alone, and Mykyta, 8 years old, who lost his father and needs support to learn to trust people again. These children often feel lonely and long for warmth and attention.

We plan to organize a heartfelt celebration where they can visit St. Nicholas’ residence and enjoy a fun zone with attractions and creative activity rooms. Thanks to this event, the children will feel supported, meet new friends, and have the chance to play, laugh, and simply be children again.
This celebration will help strengthen their psychological well-being, give them hope, and remind them that they are not forgotten.

Project goal: to raise 20,000 UAH to organize the St. Nicholas celebration.
