A clean home, a dignified life for lonely elderly

In Kharkiv, 60 lonely older people who are beneficiaries of the Home Care project need not only regular visits and support from social workers, but also basic household supplies for their everyday lives.

Laundry detergent, cleaning products, dishwashing liquid, surface cleaners, trash bags, sponges, and other household essentials are ordinary purchases for most of us. However, for older people living on small pensions, many of whom live alone, have chronic illnesses, or face limited mobility, these items are often unaffordable. As a result, they are forced to save money even on the most basic necessities.

We are opening a fundraising campaign for UAH 14,830 to purchase sets of household goods for 60 residents of the Home Care project. These essential items will help them maintain clean and safe living conditions, preserve their dignity, and feel that they are not forgotten and that someone truly cares about them.
