Cleanliness and care for a dignified old age!

When we think about old age, we imagine peace and care. But for many lonely elderly people, the reality is quite different. They are forced to save even on the simplest things – soap, shampoo, or washing powder. Due to meager pensions, elderly people are forced to save on everything, giving preference to medicines or food, and postponing hygiene products "for later".

79-year-old Maria lives alone in a small apartment. After paying for utilities and buying medicine, she has almost no money left. "Sometimes I stretch my washing powder to last several months," she says. Social workers at our organization hear similar stories every day.

With this project, we aim to support 60 elderly people living alone and people with disabilities who are in difficult life circumstances. We plan to purchase and assemble sets of household chemicals and hygiene products for a total amount of UAH 60,000.

Each set will contain basic items necessary for daily life: soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, cleaning products, and other hygiene products.

Volunteers from our organization will assemble the packages and deliver them directly to elderly people, especially those with limited mobility who are unable to shop for themselves.

For our beneficiaries, this is not just everyday assistance. It is a sign of care, support, and a reminder that they are not alone.

The charitable organization "Caritas-Khmelnytskyi UGCC" has been supporting people in difficult life circumstances for many years. By joining this project, you will help elderly people receive the necessary means for a dignified life and feel cared for.
