Hear – the right that everyone deserves!

Danylo was born prematurely at the 24th week. At the age of 3, the boy was diagnosed with mental retardation, and at 4 - visual impairment. At age 11, the boy began to lose his hearing. This happened in 2016, the same year when the family had to leave their home in the Donetsk region due to hostilities and move to Kherson. There, Danylo was placed in a specialized school for children with hearing impairments. He was diagnosed with bilateral sensorineural deafness on the right, and deafness of the 3rd degree. left.

Danylo fondly mastered the curriculum began to talk, but with a defect. Because a person says what he hears. "Danylo is very sensitive, gentle, loves life and everything around him. But he is limited in communication, communicates only within the school and family. People around him don't understand sign language, and he doesn't hear them", shares mother Ivanna.

Hearing aids are the most important thing that children with hearing impairments need. After all, thanks to them they can hear! And it's not just about communicating with people, they can hear a car approaching, an important announcement in a public place, and so on. Hearing is a right that everyone deserves.

Danylo is now 16 years old, time is lost but there is hope that the hearing aid will help in the development of language and learning. Danylo still has a younger brother Mark, Ivanna's mother raises them herself, they don't have relatives, her mother can't pay for such expensive hearing aids, so Danylo can't wait for help except from people who are able to sympathize and make a small contribution to the boy's future.
