Damir means iron

38 week of pregnancy. Pulling placenta. Resuscitation. Supersensive: save mom and son. The woman came to her senses, but could see the newborn son only a few days later, when she could move on his own. Through the pain, the young mother went to her son – Damir – daily. Some moms were allowed to intensive care to their children outside the schedule. Only later, the woman understood why: all because their children could die at any time. And Damir’s mom was among those who were allowed at any time.

Tiny Damir's fingers were a scarifier, there were many tubes, sensors and devices that were singing all the time. The conclusion of doctors – the boy will not live until the morning... But his mom sincerely believed that her son would survive and would be a happy boy. No wonder the boy was called Damir – his name means "iron".

After a few months, mom and the son with a medical record with a number of diagnoses returned home, and then Damir's father left the family. So a woman with sick son stayed one on one with a disease.
