Dania struggles with autism. 2

In August 2024, the project “Danya fights autism. 2” was posted on the dobro.ua website, the purpose of which was to raise funds for a rehabilitation course at the Step by Step to the Goal Center for Skoromny Daniil (diagnosis – autism).

This was not the first fundraising to help Daniil. And we are glad to be able to support the boy on his way to a healthy life.

Since the age of three, Daniil has been living with an autism spectrum disorder. But, unfortunately, this is not the only test in his life - in the summer of 2022, the boy lost his dad due to a full-scale war, and this greatly affected his emotional state. Now Daniil lives with his mother, Khrystyna, who is raising the child on her own and makes every effort for continuous therapy and support.
According to the recommendations of specialists, children with autism need to undergo 4–5 rehabilitation courses per year to have a lasting effect. In May 2025, the fundraising was completed and Danya underwent a rehabilitation course for a total amount of UAH 42,250.00 from 05/26/2025 to 06/06/2025.

“Thanks to this course, Danya has become more independent, hears my words better, and has fewer tantrums. Now he can wait a little while I talk to someone or do some shopping — this was not the case before. And most importantly, he asks for the phone less. This is a big step forward for us,” says Khrystyna.
