Danil will be able to dance

Daniel was born on a sunny day on May 24. He nearly lost his life on his birthday. His mother was in labour for 17 hours, as a result the child was born without signs of life. Resuscitation, mechanical ventilation, medication returned the boy to life, but the brain was very damaged, causing - the most severe form of cerebral palsy, full paralysis of all extremities. Now Dan is 7, he is in need of constant and expensive courses of therapy, but the family has no opportunity to set aside any funds. Without any help Danya couldn’t cope.

Soon, the family split up, and mother stayed with Danya alone with their grief. The child's father did not want to carry the heavy burden of life - a disabled son. But God did not leave the boy, when he was two years old, he met his foster father, who has done and is doing everything possible for his rehabilitation.
Many books were read, hundreds of calls were made, sleepless nights passed in finding panacea for cerebral palsy. Really this disease considered to be incurable, but our case is not hopeless. According to the attending doctor, Danya is very promising kid, he responds well to treatment. Rehabilitation courses give us a positive trend.

Daniel’s shortened leg rose half a centimeter without surgery, gait and speech improved significantly, his back become more stronger. Treatment of cerebral palsy - a long and multi-stage. The doctor recommended to repeat courses every 6 months.

Daniel is a very ambitious boy. He tries hard, like to get hippotherapy (3 times a week), he visits a speech therapist every day, swims regularly (3 times a week) and does some physical treatment activity, attends a private daycare center for children with special needs. Danya loves to teach poetry of Esenin, fish, cook, ride a bike. He honestly did not understand why he is not like everyone. Why children don’t want to play with him, why he did not go to school at seven years, why his father visits him only two - three times a year? Danya explains everything very easy that children are busy with their chores, father can’t see him more often, he goes to school next year only need to learn how to walk and talk.

Danya’s relatives put a lot of effort, spare neither money nor time. Each Daniel’s month has by-the-minute schedule, mother makes annual plan of rehabilitation, she makes every effort to implement it. Danya's parents believe that the result is bound to be! The family has no opportunity to set aside any funds. Speech therapist, massage, swimming, horses, exercise, medication, travel to rehabilitation, acquisition of orthopedic shoes, walking aids, removable joint-immobilizer for night pilings, medical simulators, training micropolarization, surveys in Ukraine and Russia make up the entire family budget.

We can’t stop, it’s time to go to school for Danya, but on the street he walks with help and really wants to go to school alone, without support. It’s the last year in which it is necessary to rehabilitate the boy -child will be 8 soon, he developed mentally, but physically can’t start education. Daniel really deserves to be healthy. His sincerity, cheerfulness, kindness and disarming smile, will certainly help to make a lot of good deeds in adult life.
