Bohdan is one of about 50 people in the world with a rare genetic pathology – Opic-Frias syndrome. The disease is extremely difficult, which can not be cured, but the consequences can be corrected. A sixteen-year-old boy with a height of one and a half meters and weighing only 35 kilograms. The disease manifests itself in the form of an underdeveloped body, namely in the deformation of the chest and the stop. Due to the slow growth of the tendons, the muscles of the hands and feet of Bogdan wipes out the tension. In addition, the child is poorly seen and wearing hearing aids on both ears.

Bogdan was born in Khmelnytskyi region. Appearing on the world, he did not respond to the scream and he lacked one egg. However, doctors did not give this value and were released home. There, the condition of the child only deteriorated. Bogdan was crying all the time. He could not eat his mother's milk, because he constantly drove away because he was critically losing weight. Mother Eugene noticed other deviations - her son, for example, could not squeeze the pen into his fist, or focus his eyes.

Today Bogdan is studying in a special school. He likes to study, he has a good memory, and much is well remembered. But he can not be as his peer, but it is possible due to constant occupations and rehabilitation. Thanks to you in 2018 and in early 2019, we were able to pay as much as three rehabilitations, which were saturated with intense physical therapy classes, massages, hippotherapy, classes with psychologists and speech therapists.
Rehabilitologists have noticed that the child's condition has improved, the muscles of the body have become softer, decreased spasticity. The stack has become even, holds back in the right position for a long time. Also, the legs turned, before they were turned in the middle and this, in turn, worsened the opportunity to walk. The psychologist noticed that Bogdan became more stable and calm during the tasks. Concentrated and persistent exercises. The speech therapist was shocked by how the child began to pronounce certain sounds before it was given to them very difficultly.

In order to grow and grow, Bogdan needs to continue rehab. Mom, Bogdan, and we again appeal to you for the support and assistance to raise funds for the two subsequent rehabilitation. The cost is 34 600 UAH. We hope and very believe that Bogdan will become a real man, have a family with his wife and children, and will remember his suffering as a test on the path to his happiness and health.
