"Day of Cleanliness" for single grandparents. 2

Today, single grandparents are, unfortunately, the most vulnerable of all in the country. Old age makes a person weak and helpless, and loneliness – takes away hope and locks in four walls. Poor pensions make you save on essentials such as body care and housekeeping.

KRCF "Social Assistance Service" has been implementing the project "Home Care" since 1999. As part of the project, the fund supports the elderly and provides them with social and psychological assistance.

On the eve of Easter, which is the most important Orthodox holiday for grandparents, we want to do a little miracle for them and organize a "Day of Purity" – clean their homes: wash windows and floors, clean kitchen and bathroom, wash clothes. If one of them can't take a bath on his own, the staff of the fund will help him with that.

In order for the "Day of Purity" to take place, we need to collect UAH 16,284. With these funds we will be able to buy personal hygiene products (soap, shampoo, body sponge), as well as tools for cleaning the house, washing windows and washing clothes. Such a set for one person costs UAH 271.40. We need 60 such sets.
