Denis is a fighter for life!

Denis is the only and desirable child in the family, he is a very smart boy, despite his diagnosis of cerebral palsy. He says that he will definitely learn to walk on his own, this is what mom and dad and all the relatives are waiting for, but it requires a lot of work.

Denis was born 2 months ahead of schedule with a weight of 1,750 grams. Immediately after birth, the boy was taken to the intensive care unit because he was not breathing. He spent 14 days in intensive care. The mother prayed that her son would live, held his tiny hand and asked him to start breathing on his own, because he was strong. And in the hospital ward she cried because she could not help anything, everything depended only on him. Her son turned out to be a real fighter who wanted to live. The family spent another 3 weeks in the premature ward. During this time, Denis learned to breathe and eat independently.

After that, the family thought that the worst was over, but at 3 months Denis still did not hold his head. And every 2 months he was treated in the neurological department of Sumy Regional Hospital.

When he was 1 year old he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis and began permanent rehabilitation, which has lasted for 4 years. Denis was in Odessa in the sanatorium "Hadzhibey", in Kyiv in the center of Martyniuk and the center "Step by step", in Lviv in the center "Elita" and "Innovo", Sumy rehabilitation center. At the moment, the family decided to stay at the “Rostock of Life” Center, where they see the best results, but it is very difficult financially.

Today Denis talks, understands everything and learns poetry. He sits in Turkish and has a great desire to do everything by himself, unfortunately not everything works out due to spasticity in the hands and legs. The family works a lot and Denis tries very hard. No one can say how the body will behave, but they can not waste time while the baby is still small, and responds better to each rehabilitation.

Denis's family believes that his first independent steps are still ahead. All they need is the help and support of caring people!
