News for November 2025
Melania dreams of walking and playing like all children. Unfortunately, the road to this dream is long: she has already undergone eight difficult orthopedic surgeries. The last one was on September 12. Her foot was literally dismantled bone by bone and metal structures were installed.
At the end of October, Melania's cast was removed and her stitches were taken out, but she still cannot put weight on her operated leg. The family raised some funds, and rehabilitation sessions with a doctor began at home. The girl enjoys the sessions and perseveres even when it hurts.
Melania has a similar operation ahead of her on her right leg. And then a tenth operation: removal of old structures from her knees and left hip. All interventions will take place at the Pirogov Dnipro Medical and Surgical Center.
Her mother, grandmother, and grandfather are fighting for the child's health. We have known the family for over 9 years and have supported Melania many times.
Now she needs our help again. We need to raise funds to pay for two surgeries, anesthesia, examinations, hospitalization, metal structures, and instruments for implant removal.
Let's help Melania get back on her feet!
