Diana: to break the vicious circle. 2
Diana looks like an ordinary girl, but ask her mom – and find out how much effort is required from the whole family to keep this baby alive. “Curious, funny, eloquently chatting, despite the young age, composes and tells whole stories, likes to talk, walk, loves animals... all life is beautiful for her! But not for us. We accepted her diagnosis, but it’s very hard to understand that the quality of her life, and life itself, depends on whether we can provide her with everything vital... It’s hard to understand that we have a lack of time to provide everything”, her mother asks for help for her baby.
“We have only recently been able to fully realize and accept the diagnosis of the daughter – cystic fibrosis – into our life, learned to live with it and repel its blows. Our two-year-old baby knows that with every meal she should also take Creon, otherwise the food will not be absorbed and the tummy will hurt. She knows that “it is necessary to breathe a little” (make inhalations), jump, make a massage, special exercises, otherwise it will be difficult to breathe. For Dianka, this is just a game for now, but for us, it's already a way of life...".
Cystic fibrosis is a severe genetic disease that affects the entire body, interferes with normal breathing and digestion. Cystic fibrosis is still impossible to cure completely, but you can restrain its signs and not allow it to destroy the body. For this, you need to follow many rules of complex therapy, to have on hand a whole set of medical equipment. In addition, in order to grow and develop normally, the baby needs additional high-calorie nutrition.
“Unfortunately, we are not omnipotent and cannot provide our baby in full of drugs and equipment. Help our little Diana live a full life, grow and enjoy!”. The parents cover part of the needs by themselves. But their strength is not enough for all things, and the failure of even some of the requirements of therapy is fraught with complications. The family needs help.
Earlier at UBB, we have already collected funds for Diana. View the previous project you can by the link.
