KURAZH NOT ONLY JAZZ 2025: House of Butterflies
In September 2025, the KIT Pavilion at VDNG hosted KURAZH NOT ONLY JAZZ 2025 — a vibrant autumn festival of music, art, and good deeds. The event brought together people who came not only for the atmosphere, vintage items, the market, and the music, but also for a shared cause: to help others.
The festival traditionally brought together everything it is known for: live jazz, electronic sets, and experimental performances; a market featuring Ukrainian brands and vintage items; art zones, performances, and photo spaces; lectures and public discussions with artists and thought leaders; and inclusive and children’s activities.
As always, charity was an integral part of KURAZH.
Visa is the event’s long-standing partner. Guests who purchased tickets and made purchases with Visa cards automatically contributed to the charity: a portion of the proceeds went toward supporting social initiatives, amplifying everyone’s contribution.
It is thanks to these contributions that the project “Nanny Moms for Children from the House of Butterflies” was supported.
The project aims to provide continuous, high-quality, and compassionate care for 14 orphaned children, children deprived of parental care, and children with disabilities living at the “House of Butterflies”—a facility for palliative and rehabilitative care.
These children have complex medical and psycho-emotional needs and require the constant presence of an adult—for care, safety, comfort, and a basic sense of stability. For many of them, the “House of Butterflies” is their only home.
The project employs seven nannies who work in shifts to provide 24/7 care. This involves not only daily needs—such as feeding, hygiene, and sleep—but also emotional support, building trust, and fostering a sense of security.
The project is based on an individualized approach to each child, taking into account their condition and developmental needs. Special attention is given to children with disabilities and palliative care needs, for whom consistent care and constant contact with adults are critically important.
Thanks to the project, the following has been ensured:
- continuous care for children over a 2-month period;
- the consistent presence of adults whom the children can trust;
- a reduction in stress and anxiety levels;
- support for the children’s basic and specialized needs.
KURAZH NOT ONLY JAZZ 2025 has once again proven that when a cultural event has a big heart, it can produce very tangible results. Thanks to our partners, Visa, and every festival guest, the children received consistent care—which means much more to them than just basic support.
