Dima dreams of defeating the disease

Dmytro is a real fighter. Despite his disability since childhood and a number of illnesses, he runs, plays active games, rides a bicycle and a scooter. This 9-year-old boy is a very strong and courageous child. He loves math and geography, studies countries and their economies, population, and animals that live there. Dmytro goes swimming, goes to art classes, he likes to sing, he even covers modern singers. Dmytro also loves animals, especially his cat Ryzhulya.

The boy's diagnosis is the consequences of acute cerebrovascular accident in the type of ischemia in the basin of the left middle cerebral artery, right-sided hemiparesis, Moya-Moya syndrome. After birth, he was diagnosed with moderate asphyxia and intrauterine hypotrophy of the 1st degree. Doctors predicted that he would not be able to walk, but he left the hospital on his own two legs. Despite all the difficulties, Dmytro and his mother are fighting for his life.

Before the surgery in September, he was in better shape than he is now. The anesthesia caused a step backwards, the spasticity became worse, and now the boy needs to catch up. Dmytro's body recovered gradually, his leg is better than his arm (especially his fingers). There is a certain obstacle in the fact that he is left-handed and does almost everything with his left hand. The right arm is bent at the elbow almost all the time, and the cam is closed.

In order for Dmytro to live a full life, he needs to undergo therapeutic massage, heat therapy and other rehabilitation measures. His mother is unable to find the funds for the child's rehabilitation, so she asks each of us to help her son Dima overcome the disease.
