Dimka needs your support

32 kg with a height of 163 cm – eighteen-year-old Dima is extremely thin. And the reason for this is the genetic disease cystic fibrosis, which has been weakening his body since he was born. The disease disrupts the normal digestive process and nutrients from ordinary food are absorbed very poorly. Every meal, even just a sandwich, is accompanied by creon pills. But this is not enough. To really gain weight, the guy needs to take a special high-calorie diet for a long time.

We were horrified when we found out how much Dima weighs now. After all, underweight is not just inconvenient. Lack of weight means lack of strength. Greater vulnerability to any infections, which is especially dangerous with cystic fibrosis, and less ability to resist – that's what it means for Dima. It is literally life-threatening. 

Dima had to grow up early, because he lives with his father, and his father was always busy with one job or another, and now he has no free time at all – Dima's father is a rescue worker.

In order to receive state-funded support, Dima needs to reissue his documents, as he has already reached the age of majority. This procedure takes time. And the budget does not cover 100% of the needs. 

So now we are raising funds to buy a supply of high-calorie special food and medicines for Dima. We need to feed our guy.
