Children's hope: help of the Dnepropetrovsk RCCH

In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the project "Children's Hope" to help children with heart and cancer diseases in Ukrainian hospitals. In the framework of the project in the direction of Oncology оn July,23 2019, the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital was received assistance.

Dnipropetrovsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital is a center for providing specialized medical care to children from Dnipropetrovsk region, patients with oncology and oncohematology and has a department of hematology and a department of reconstructive surgery with beds for cancer patients.

Each year, in the department of reconstructive surgery with beds for cancer patients, about 1000 surgical interventions are conducted with suspicion of tumor diseases, removal of various tumors and tumor-like formations. About 200 children with malignant neoplasms of various localizations are under constant treatment.

The collected funds was purchased by the operating lamp of the Luvis S200 double, which is a universal light source in clinical procedures and will provide the opportunity to perform surgical interventions and various medical and diagnostic procedures for cancer patients at a higher quality level. The ceiling light will be installed in the operating room where surgical intervention is performed in patients with tumors and tumor-like formations.
