Children's hope: help of the Dnepropetrovsk RCCH-3

In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the project "Children's Hope" to help children with heart and cancer diseases in Ukrainian hospitals. In the framework of the project in the direction of Oncology in July 17, 2020, the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital received assistance.

Dnipropetrovsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital is a center for providing specialized medical care to children from Dnipropetrovsk region, patients with oncology and oncohematology and has a 40-bed onco-hematology center (15 oncology and 25 hematology).

The incidence of children in the field of cancer in recent years has increased from 55-65 cases per year to 85-93 cases per year. In addition, since 2014, the hospital has been providing treatment to children from Donetsk and Luhansk regions who have been diagnosed with malignancies. About 200 children with malignancies of different locations are treated every year in the hospital.

The funds raised was used the purchase of the Ultra Low Temperature Freezer DW-86L 100J, Qingdao Haier Biomedical Co., Ltd. PRC, which will enable the introduction of the latest technologies in the field of autologous stem cell transplantation and improve the results of tretment of malignant tumors in the Dnieper region.
