In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the project "Children's Hope" to help children with heart and cancer diseases in Ukrainian hospitals.

In the framework of the project in the direction of Oncology in January 2021, the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital will receive assistance.


Dnipropetrovsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital is a center for providing specialized medical care to children from Dnipropetrovsk region, patients with oncology and oncohematology and has a 40-bed onco-hematology center (15 oncology and 25 hematology).

The incidence of children in the field of cancer in recent years has increased from 55-65 cases per year to 85-93 cases per year. In addition, since 2014, the hospital has been providing treatment to children from Donetsk and Luhansk regions who have been diagnosed with malignancies. Every year, the hospital treats more than 150 children with malignant of various localizations. The hospital`s surgeons opereta on more than 450 patients each year with bening tumors, precancerous conditions, and suspected malignancies.

The funds raised used to purchase a mechanical-hydraulic operating table SU-02 for the hospital operating room and 2 BeneFusion SP1 syringe pumps for oncohematology department. Syringe dispensers are easy to use and help to infuse children quickly and easily. This equipment will allow to treat children with cancer at a better level.
