Children's hope: help to Dnipropetrovsk ODKL. Cardio 2

In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the project "Children's Hope" to help children with heart and cancer diseases in Ukrainian hospitals.

In January 2022, the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital will receive assistance within the framework of the Cardiology project.

KP "Dnipropetrovsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital" DOR "is a center for specialized medical care for children of Dnipropetrovsk region (child population - about 550 thousand), including patients with cardiorheumatological pathology.

Every year, more than 9,000 children undergo special examinations and treatment in inpatient departments at the Children's Consultative Polyclinic of DODCL DOR, which requires cardiac supervision of about 1,000 children. The majority of patients require daily blood pressure monitoring and Holter ECG monitoring. About 400 studies have been conducted in the last 9 months of this year. Given the available opportunities, it is not possible to meet the needs in full.

Due to limited budget funding, as well as the growing need for blood pressure and ECG monitoring of the funds raised to the office of functional diagnostics of the outpatient department of the hospital will be purchased and transferred Holter ECG Monitoring System ECGpro Holter (version S) based on computer technology, Holter Monitor BS6930 -3 (additional recorder), system of daily monitoring of JSC "AVPro", a set of disposable electrodes for holter ECG.

This equipment will allow to provide better and more timely treatment to children with cardiorheumatological pathology of Dnipropetrovsk and surrounding areas, as well as to introduce the latest technologies for the treatment of diseases in children.
