Children's Hope: Help to the Dnepropetrovsk OCCCC 2

In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the project "Children's Hope" to help children with heart and cancer diseases in Ukrainian hospitals.

In March 2021, the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Clinical Center of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery will receive assistance under the Cardiology project.

The Department of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery, Anesthesiology and Intensive Care operates within the structure of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Clinical Center of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. The department solves the problem of cardiac surgery not only in Dnipropetrovsk, but also in the surrounding areas and the ATO zone. About 250-300 operations are performed during the year, most of which are operations in the conditions of artificial blood circulation. The department provides care to patients of different ages, including premature and newborns.

The funds raised will be used to purchase the Sprint 100 Multifunctional Four-Section Wheelchair, which allows adjusting the height and position of the child's tilt, and 2 mobile tool tables with a tabletop and shelf 2-346, manufactured by ALVO. The tables are designed for use in operating rooms and intensive care units and become indispensable assistants to doctors during operations on children. This equipment will help children with heart disease at a better level.
