Children's hope: help to the Dnipropetrovsk RMTCRZ. Cardio 3

In November 2018, Kyivstar,  together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the «Children's Hope» to help children with heart and cancer diseases in Ukrainian hospitals.

Despite the war, the program continues to operate and assist Ukrainian hospitals with the necessary medical equipment.

In March 2023, within the framework of the «Cardiology» project, the «Regional Family Health Medical Center» (formerly Dnipropetrovsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital) will receive assistance.

With the collected funds, the hospital purchased the AMEDTEK ESOrgo CardioPat 12 USВ ECG reset device and the Ergoselect 1 cycle ergometer. This equipment is necessary for conducting ECG stress tests with cycle ergometry for cardiological monitoring.

Every year, more than 9,000 children undergo a special examination at the children's consultative polyclinic of KP «DODKL DOR», and about 1,000 children require cardiology supervision in inpatient departments. The majority of patients require daily blood pressure monitoring and Holter ECG monitoring.

The communal enterprise «Regional Family Health Medical Center» of the «Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council» is the only hospital in the Dnipropetrovsk region that provides highly specialized medical care to children from 0 to 18 years of age, to women giving birth in the Dnipropetrovsk region, mostly in emergency cases, and is also one of the hospitals, which provides medical assistance to the wounded and injured from the war zone, and to internally displaced persons as a result of the hostilities.
