In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the Children's Hope project to help children with heart disease and cancer treated in Ukrainian hospitals. Despite the war, the program continues to operate and provide necessary medical equipment to Ukrainian hospitals.
As part of the oncology project, in May 2025, the Regional Medical Center for Family Health of the State Regional Administration (formerly the Dnipro Regional Children's Clinical Hospital) will receive assistance.
Despite the war, the hospital has made repairs to the intensive care units where young patients with oncology are treated, and now needs new medical furniture. The center's intensive care and efferent methods of treating acute and chronic intoxication will be equipped with children's medical furniture.
The Regional Medical Center for Family Health provides assistance to children in Dnipro, Dnipropetrovs'k and adjacent regions where military operations are underway.
The hospital has a capacity of 645 beds. Today, it is the only multidisciplinary children's institution providing specialized treatment for the southeastern region of Ukraine. It is expected that about 900 children will be able to receive quality treatment annually thanks to this assistance.
