In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the project "Children's Hope" to help children with heart and cancer diseases in Ukrainian hospitals.

In the framework of the project in the direction of Cardiology In August 2019, the Lviv Oblast Children's Clinical Hospital "OHMATDYT" will receive assistance.


OHMATDYT started operating in March 1950 and is the oldest hospital in western Ukraine. For its existence, the hospital is a leading children's medical institution in the region. The main task of the team is to provide highly qualified specialized and emergency medical care to the children of Lviv region.

Every year, about 5,000 children undergo outpatient and inpatient treatment, about 300 of whom have congenital heart defects, and about 70 of them are diagnosed with critical needs for urgent medical care. The hospital is based on the regional pediatric cardiologist OB Kurilyak, who provides qualified medical care to children from all over the Lviv region with cardiac pathology.

The funds raised will be used to purchase a sector 6S-RS sensor for the existing ultrasound machine, as well as to purchase an MIDAS 6/12 electrocardiograph with electrodes for it and a Holter ECG workstation BS6930-3 (version S12). The MIDAS 6/12 electrocardiograph will be installed in the admission department, the rest of the equipment will be transferred to the first pediatric department.
