Children's Hope: Help the City Children's Clinical Hospital No. 6. 2

In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the project "Children's Hope" to help children with heart and cancer diseases in Ukrainian hospitals. Despite the war, the program continues to operate and help Ukrainian hospitals with the necessary medical equipment.

As part of the cardiology project, in August 2022, the pediatric department of specialized care No. 2 of the municipal non-profit enterprise "City Children's Clinical Hospital No. 6" of the Dnipro City Council will receive assistance.

With the collected funds, the department will purchase an ECG recording device "AMEDTEC ECGpro CardioPart 12 Blue"-mr-wt with consumables and updated software for Holter ECG analysis "ECGpro Holter" (version S). This equipment is necessary for early diagnosis of various types of arrhythmias, especially life-threatening ones, detection of ischemic changes in the myocardium and control of treatment effectiveness. The equipment will make it possible to carry out diagnostics and provide treatment to children with cardiac and rheumatological diseases at a higher quality level.

Every year, the department provides inpatient care to 2,000-2,500 thousand children, and consultative care to about 3,000-3,500 children with cardiac and rheumatological pathologies. With all the other projects and news of "Children's Hope" you can get acquainted here.
