Children's Hope: Help City Clinical Hospital №6. Dnipro

In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the project "Children's Hope" to help children with heart and cancer diseases in Ukrainian hospitals.

In the framework of the project in the direction of Cardiology in May 13, 2020, the City Children's Clinical Hospital #6 of the Dnipro received assistance.

The Municipal Children's Clinical Hospital №6 of the Dniprovsky City Council has a Pediatric ward No. 2 in its structure (in the past, a cardiopulmonary ward of the National Pediatric Clinic "MССР No. 2" of the DСС). Every year, the department provides inpatient care for 2000-2500, advisory - for about 3000-3500 patients with cardiac and rheumatological pathology.

The collected funds was purchased of a Halter ECG Workstation and two BAT 41-2 blood pressure meters with consumables. This equipment is necessary for the early diagnosis of various types of arrhythmias, especially life-threatening ones, to detect ischemic myocardial changes and to monitor the effectiveness of treatment. The equipment will allow to diagnose and provide treatment to children with cardiac and rheumatological diseases at a higher level.
