In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the project "Children's Hope" to help children with heart and cancer diseases in Ukrainian hospitals.

In the framework of the Oncology project, in November 2021, the National Children’s Specialized Hospital “OKHMATDIT” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine will receive assistance. For many years, the hospital has been providing highly specialized care to the most difficult patients from all over Ukraine with various pathologies, including neurooncological, oncological and oncohematological. Examination and treatment for young Ukrainians is free.

Electro-encephalographic examinations are performed at different stages of treatment of patients with oncological diseases. In 2020, 1253 EEGs were performed, including 205 severe and non-transportable patients. The hospital has a great need for EEG studies for non-transportable neurooncology patients who are in the neurosurgery, resuscitation department, as well as patients who cannot leave the boundaries of the oncohematology departments of the hospital.

The collected funds will be used to purchase and transfer a portable electroencephalographic complex "BRAINTEST 24" with a long-term monitoring function for the diagnostic department. This equipment will allow to provide treatment to children with oncological pathology at a better level.
