Children's Hope: Help to Odessa Regional Hospital. Cardio

In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the project "Children's Hope" to help children with heart and cancer diseases in Ukrainian hospitals.

In the framework of the project in the direction of Cardiology in September,20 2019, the Odessa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital was received assistance. The Odessa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital is the only one in the region that provides emergency surgical, traumatological and, as a whole, emergency assistance to the children's population of the region.

Throughout its existence, the hospital is a leading children's health facility in the region, providing specialized care to more than 80,000 children. Every year, about 6,000 children undergo outpatient and inpatient treatment, of whom about 400 have congenital heart defects, of which 60 are diagnosed and require urgent medical care. Last year, 61 children under 1 year of age were operated on at the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital.

The collected funds was replaced the purchase of the Holter ECG Workstation and the BAT-41 Blood Pressure Monitor. This equipment will allow you to diagnose cardiac diseases in children at a better level, which will save little Ukrainians much faster.
