Children's hope: help to the Odessa regional hospital. Cancer 6

In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the project "Children's Hope" to help children with heart and cancer diseases in Ukrainian hospitals. Despite the war, the program continues to operate and assist Ukrainian hospitals with the necessary medical equipment.

In the framework of the Oncology project, in April 2022, the Odesa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital, a non-profit enterprise of the Odessa Regional Council, will receive assistance.

The hospital has a hematology department, where children with malignant neoplasms of various organs and systems are hospitalized. Every year there are up to 70 children diagnosed for the first time. Up to 500 patients are treated during the year, and each child in the process of treatment requires constant monitoring of various medical indicators, including the process of blood coagulation and monitoring of the microflora of patients. The medical institution provides assistance to children from the city of Odessa, Odessa region and surrounding regions.

The funds raised for the Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory, where children from the hospital's hematology department are constantly tested, will be purchased with a semi-automatic Stat Fax 4500 biochemical analyzer. The BeneFusion VP1 Infusion Pump (6 pcs.) Will be donated to the hospital's hematology department. Pumps are needed for metered administration of small volumes of fluid to patients during treatment. This equipment will help children at a better level.
