In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the project "Children's Hope" to help children with heart and cancer diseases in Ukrainian hospitals.

In the framework of the project in the direction of Cardiology In August,19 2019 assistance was received by the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise of the Lviv Regional Council "Western Ukrainian Specialized Children's Medical Center".


The hospital has a hematology and intensive care unit, where 50-65 patients with hematological diseases are treated annually. The department provides highly specialized medical care for children with diseases of the blood system, namely, malignant diseases of the blood (leukemia, lymphoma, histiocytosis, etc.), anemia and diseases of the sedentary blood system (hemophilia, thrombocytopenia, thrombocytopathy). The modern system of diagnostics and treatment of patients with oncohematological profile allows joint efforts of doctors to reach their full recovery.

The proceeds was included the purchase of a Infusomat fms volumetric infusion pump that allows children to be continuously infused, as well as 150 Disposable needles for sternal puncture - bone marrow puncture in sick children. This equipment will allow treatment of sick little Ukrainians more qualitatively and quickly.
