Children's hope: Help to Lviv Regional Council. Cardio 4

In November 2018, Kyivstar, together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, launched the Children's Hope project to help children with heart disease and cancer treated in Ukrainian hospitals. In April 2023, the Children's Hope project was expanded to include a new area of work - helping children with burns. Despite the war, the programme continues to operate and provide necessary medical equipment to Ukrainian hospitals.

In April 2024, the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise of the Lviv Regional Council «Western Ukrainian Specialized Children's Medical Center» will receive assistance under the cadio project.

About 500 cardiologist consultations are held annually in the clinic's departments, during which cardiovascular diseases or their complications are detected. Such clinical cases require close monitoring of vital signs and very precise and careful administration of therapeutic agents. That is why the hospital needs a daily ECG monitoring device (EC-3H Holter ECG system) and SKR054ET emergency medical trolleys to meet the working conditions and needs of patients with complex pathology and cardiovascular diseases (see the Reports and Documents section for details).
