Children's playground for Shastie

Our charitable foundation pays special attention to foster homes and specialized educational establishments in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone. Upon successful implementation of our project «Зігріймо дітей Сходу!» (“Warm Kids from the East Up!”), a wonderful playground was placed for children studying at the Artemivskyi educational and training center in Stanychno-Luhanskyi district.

Our charitable foundation pays special attention to foster homes and specialized educational establishments in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone. Upon successful implementation of our project «Зігріймо дітей Сходу!» (“Warm Kids from the East Up!”), a wonderful playground was placed for children studying at the Artemivskyi educational and training center in Stanychno-Luhanskyi district. 

But Artemivsky ETC is only one of the few institutions where volunteer help is available, especially in terms of such school territory arrangement as establishment of a strong quality playground. Thus, we were also addressed by "Romashka" kindergarten and by Shchastyno boarding school and children's hospital, which are under the same difficult conditions as Artemivskyi ETC and have no idea whom to ask for help.

It is such an importance for children to have a specially equipped space for physical activity, because playing in the fresh air is one of the pledges of good health. Moreover, the playground is a great place to relieve stress and psychological exhaustion. Children have been living in the line of separation for three years and they know what bombardments and overnight bomb shelters are very well. Obviously, such conditions do set their stamp upon the mental condition of local children. But there is simply no place to rest for them - children's playgrounds still existing in the Shchastya area do not answer to the safety specifications. In the children's hospital there is simply no suitable place for children to rest.

Since we realize how important it is for children to have a specially equipped activity space and after our positive experience with Artemivskyi ETC, we agreed to help these institutions and provide them with the necessary inventory. The playground seems to be just a trifle, but exactly those simple things help kids from the near-front zone switch off from the horrors of war for a little while and have fun with friends. So we suggest everyone joining our initiative on order to present those very important moments of serenity to the children of Luhanshchyna.
