Children desperately need hot water

Tragically, the war has robbed many children of their parents and loved ones. But when they come to our Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation, we become their family, and this place becomes their home. Most of these children have endured severe stress, loss, and have been deprived of the most basic conditions for a healthy childhood. Here, they find comprehensive support: safety, education, rehabilitation, and, most importantly, they learn to trust again.

Our Center has been operating for many years, and unfortunately, the equipment that provides for the children's daily needs is wearing out. Our water heater has broken down completely and is beyond repair. We now urgently need a new one to ensure the children have access to hot water around the clock.

For these children, regular access to hot water for washing, bathing, and maintaining personal hygiene is not a luxury – it's a fundamental necessity for their health and well-being. A warm shower has a calming effect, helping to relieve stress and fatigue, and providing a crucial sense of home and comfort.

Ensuring a constant supply of hot water in our Center is vital for the children's physical health, emotional stability, and successful rehabilitation. These children have already seen far too much hardship. Exposing them to cold and domestic discomfort is a step backward in their psychological recovery, and we are determined not to let that happen.

The 12 children currently living in our Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation in Kyiv need hot water and your help. Please, be the one to provide them with this essential comfort.
