While children as young as 7 are already learning to read and write, this girl, Olia Kozhukhar from Berdyansk, can say "mom". It's the only word the girl still utters. She is unable to walk, and without support – even to stand or sit. Olia's condition is a result of a brain hemorrhage. The child was traumatized during childbirth and now rehabilitation is a necessity without any more. During pregnancy, her mother suffered an SARS and it was a risk for the girl.

Therefore, doctors decide to stimulate contractions and as a result, a girl at 35 weeks weighing 1700 g is born. A premature baby is immediately resuscitated. There it is connected to the apparatus of artificial respiration, because the child can not breathe independently. These awful first days of life did not fail without a trace. At home, the mother noticed that there was something wrong with Olia. Suspecting bad, she went to the doctor, began to take tests, examinations, did everything to understand what was wrong with the baby. MRI showed hemorrhage into the brain and x-ray to the neck. 

Now rehabilitation for the girl is a necessity. The results of rehab are always small achievements and, most importantly, they are. It is they who give her a chance for a healthy future. Now we again ask for support for our ward, together we can enable her to undergo another rehabilitation course. Together we can make her childhood healthy!
