Assistance to children with disabilities

Looking through the photos of the children from the Znamensky orphanage, the heart hurts and the soul rejoices. It hurts because the kids were abandoned. They were left once by the most dear people – their parents. They were abandoned by relatives, they are very rarely remembered by the state. But these children are taken care of by the educators of the institution, for whom they have become dear and necessary. And this really makes the soul happy.

Children with severe forms of disability live in the institution. 50 children were evacuated from the Kharkov region in April. People, risking their own lives, evacuated children out of the active war zone.

The Znamensky orphanage was not ready to accept many new children, and the management had to look for an opportunity to purchase diapers and special beds in a short period of time. Our organization was able to successfully negotiate with foreign partners in spring and purchase additional medical beds, diapers, food freezers and strollers. Unfortunately, we could not provide for all the needs of the institution and decided to turn to empathic people for help.

The institution really needs 20 more special beds, on which children can sleep comfortably and relax during the day. Let's help the children of the orphanage live a decent life without experiencing difficulties in everyday vital things!
