All premature babies are real Superheroes, because they fight for their lives every day: they learn to breathe, keep the temperature, eat, gain weight. But even Superheroes sometimes need help in the form of expensive modern equipment.

Unfortunately, premature babies are often unable to breathe on their own. There are many reasons for this condition, and the only help is artificial lung ventilation. In order for a newborn baby to start breathing as soon as possible, different ventilation modes were invented, which allow you to choose the optimal parameters for each baby individually. This artificial and extremely important approach, which saves the life and health of newborn babies, is provided by a device called a Flow Sensor.

It is he who signals how much, when and how to deliver vital air to the incredibly small lungs of the ventilator. Without this sensor, the device remains "blind and deaf" to the requirements of a small patient. And it is this device that allows us to save not only the life but also the fragile health of the newborn.

Thanks to fundraising on the platform dobro.ua, we plan to purchase and transfer to the Chernivtsi regional children's hospital 8 such sensors, which will be able to ensure the continuous operation of the devices and help in the care of premature babies from all over Chernivtsi region, which is at least 400 babies a year.
