Help with hygiene products for the elderly

Personal hygiene products, it would seem, are available for every person in the modern world: soap, toothpaste, brush, napkins, intimate hygiene products, hand and face cream, shampoo, shower gels, body sponge... A large assortment of this products are the basis of marketing in supermarkets. But are these funds that affordable for the average retiree, the elderly person with disabilities, and the person experiencing a financial crisis? Surely each of us knows that for many of our grandparents this is a luxury, and especially for lonely, low-income, seriously ill elderly people who are lonely and live only with their serious chronic diseases.

The fact is that for an average Ukrainian these are ordinary things, but for grandparents with minimal pensions, with which you need to buy the necessary medicine, food, pay for utilities (subsidies cover only part of the costs of utilities) and there will be no money left for these basic items of hygiene products (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc.) that are inaccessible to them.

Charitable service of charity "Caritas" Chortkiv serves seriously ill, lonely and low-income people living in the Chortkiv city and the district, where our social workers help our grandparents every day, where they are forced to move only within the limits of their apartment or house, but there are those who are limited only to their bed. Therefore, their needs are well known to us, most of them do not have adequate living conditions, let alone basic hygiene products, which tend to run out quickly.

Therefore, this project, designed to help buy hygiene products for 25 elderly people who, due to their difficult life stories, remained alone (death of a child, husband, wife, unmarried, abandoned), are low-income, and are still forced to live with their incurable, chronic diseases. Help them!
