David is a small angel with blond hair, the second child in his family. He is 4 years old and the whole family adores him. The child has a terrible cerebral palsy diagnosis, HSP (Hereditary spastic paraplegia). He’s born at 6 months pregnant, weighing 1 kg 350 g. During the first 20 days of his life the kid couldn’t breathe by himself, this was a matter of life and death. The boy’s mom and dad have been trying to do everything in their power.
Mercifully, this was overcome on the 21st day after birth. However, misfortunes never come singly; in the next 1 and a half months David has endured 4 heart arrests. His mother took care of him. The boy’s nearest and dearest prayed daily for his health. All of them want him to run and hug them, to play with his sister, to support and help his mom.
Now David undergoes rehabilitation in Kherson regional hospital; attends Hajibey sanatorium (Odesa) and therapeutic massages of local masseurs, does various exercises with his parents at home. Still, a lot has to be done for the boy’s ultimate recovery though.
As a result, the child learned how to stand up and on his feet for a long time. He can even move, leaning on something. The kid likes singing and dancing, speaks well and eats on his own.
The family turns to all kind and caring people in order to make David’s dream of walking come true. Therefore, funds for all needs are needed. Let’s help this little boy to overcome his terrible disease!
