Dmytryk – a little boy with a big heart and an even bigger challenge. He was born with Spina Bifida in the lumbar spine – a complex congenital condition affecting the spinal cord and nervous system. Due to this condition, Dmytro has tethered cord syndrome, which causes severe pain, mobility issues, and poses serious health risks.

The only chance for Dmytro to live a full life is an urgent surgery, during which doctors need to place a dural graft into his spinal cord and perform a complex neurosurgical procedure to release the tethering.

What is needed for the surgery:

• Special surgical materials,

• A dural graft to reconstruct the spinal cord,

• Medications and medical supplies for the post-operative period.
