This is Myroslavochka; she is 4 months old and needs help to pay for neurosurgery.
Miyoslava is an infant who has been fighting for her health since the first months of her life. The child has been diagnosed with a complex brain lesion: occlusive progressive post-hemorrhagic hydrocephalus following ventriculitis, with multicystic transformation of the ventricular system and an isolated fourth ventricle.
Due to the inflammatory process, the outflow of cerebrospinal fluid has been disrupted, leading to its accumulation and increased intracranial pressure. This poses a threat to the child’s life and may result in irreversible brain damage.
To stabilize Myroslavochka’s condition, a staged endoscopic neurosurgical procedure using an introducer and neuronavigation is indicated. These are modern methods that allow doctors to perform the surgery with maximum precision and safety.
The surgery is free for the family, but it requires special supplies that the family cannot afford on their own.
Timely assistance will allow doctors to perform the procedure without delay and preserve the child’s chance at life and development.
Please support Myroslavochka. Every contribution matters.
