News – September 2026
Following the operation, which lasted over four hours and took place on 19 June, the child’s plaster cast was recently removed. Natasha is currently continuing her recovery, whilst doctors are monitoring the condition of her leg and how it progresses. So far, the leg has not settled into the expected position, so the family plans to attend a follow-up consultation in October to assess the outcome of the operation with the doctor and determine the next steps. Her mum also wants to seek a second opinion from another specialist regarding possible options for further treatment.
For now, the child is under her family’s care and is gradually recovering. She can stand on her right leg unaided, but is not yet able to stand on her left leg. Her mum notes that it is currently important to give the child time to recover and monitor her progress, and then to determine the next course of treatment together with the doctors.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the donors and followers of dobro.ua for their support of Natasha!
