Ruslan Kilmuhametov decided to participate in the Kiev half marathon for children with cancer, wards of CF "Tabletochki".

Ruslan works in the financial sector since 2003, providing consulting services in the field of corporate finance in the banking sector. Currently works in the ICU. In the past he worked in UkrSibbank, and as a journalist in the beginning of his career.

Ruslan is married, has a son and loves to travel with his family.

His decision to support children with cancer he explains this way:
"Why should I help children with cancer? There is an intuitive understanding that I need to help others. Not only because they (children) need help. They definetely do. But it’s also me who need to help. A bit cynical, but I feel better when I’m helping: helping myself by helping them.

Why am I helping children suffering from cancer? Not students from poor families who need education? Not children with heart disease? Why not orphans? They all truly need our attention. Firstly, cancer is a very large-scale problem. Number of sick children and the mortality rate extremely high. When you plunge into this field, you realize that almost all families in one way or another are affected by cancer.

Secondly, it is very important that there are people (in this case, "Tabletochki" fund), which you trust, and they are able to effectively organize assistance to those who you want to help. At the same time they are ready to offer you various forms of involvement, depending on your abilities and desires. You can hand over the money, bring drugs, work with children, buy gifts, sell lemonade, run a marathon, etc. etc. Opportunities exist for each and every person. This is a huge organizational work – to build and maintain trust. I know that everything I do will eventually be drawn to help, any particular child. "

As part of the Charity marathon Ruslan collects 100 000 hryvnia for the purchase of medicines Trust Fund "Tabletochki".
