Help Olya, who helps others

The choice of 20-year-old Olya to become a nurse is more than conscious – during her life she has been in hospitals more than any of us. And she also decided to help other people. But now Olya needs help herself to keep herself in shape, facing the difficulties that arise on her way due to a serious genetic disease.

Cystic fibrosis is a congenital disease, the girl was diagnosed with it at the age of two. All the secretions in Olya's body are much thicker than normal, so food is poorly digested, and thick sputum accumulates in the lungs. In the morning, the girl wakes up a few hours earlier than her colleagues – she needs to have time to do special physiotherapy and inhalations, take a handful of pills. And only then go to work. The same thing takes place in the evening, and sometimes at lunchtime. Olya's life is scheduled on minutes.

Regular physiotherapeutic exercises and more movement are needed to get rid of thick mucus better. A home exercise machine would help Olya greatly, but due to the high price, the family cannot purchase it themselves. The family does not even have enough money to buy all the medicine the girl needs. The state covers only part of Olya's needs, she has to cope with the rest on her own.

In order to help her patients, Olya must first take care of her own health. Currently, she is in dire need of medication, replacement tubes and cups for the inhaler, and a sports simulator. Will we help?
